Hey guys - today we're looking at Apple's latest hardware mitigation that ships with all the new iPhone models this year. Apple calls it 'Memory Integrity Enforcement (MIE)' and it is their implementation of a hardware-based address sanitizer.

It's built on the Memory Tagging Extension (MTE) technology introduced in ARMv8.5, and aims to finally put an end to memory corruption exploitation on iOS.
